Dear members of the National Bailliage de Russie of the Chaine des Rotisseurs and our friends,


I am most happy to welcome you on the official website of Bailliage de Russie.


The passed year 2010 brought new development to our organisation. Bailliage Regional du Moscou held its own first Chapitre in October 2010. Our 9th Grand Chapitre took place in St Petersburg in December and was attended by members from Canada, Germany and Denmark.

 

Now, as the year 2011 has started, I am happy to announce that our jubelee 10th Grand Chapitre will take  place on 22 - 25 September, 2011. For the first time we departed


from our custom of winter snowy Grand Chapitres and moved it to early autumn so that our international member-guests could see St Petersburg and its atchitectural beauties from a different side, in warm weather. Delegation from Bailliage of United States of America have already confirmed their participation. Bailli Delegue of USA, George Brown was appointed to conduct the induction ceremony.

 

A number of dinners Amical is scheduled in Moscow and St Petersburg. The first ones will take place in February at La Maree restaurant in Moscow and at Novotel in St Petersburg.

 

Bailliages National worldwide are inviting you, dear members, to join and to participate in their Grand Chapitres. I represented Russia at the 60th Anniversary of the Chaine des Rotisseurs in Bordeaux in May and a St.Petersburg delegation led by the Bailli Regional of St. Petersburg, Leonid Garbar, participated in the 50th Anniversary of the Bailliage of the United States in San Diego on 21-24 October. I encourage you all to take the opportunity to travel and discover different fascinating countries and superb gastronomic delights of top local restaurants in the world. Sharing the pleasures of fine dining and good wines with Chaine members is the perfect occasion for both creating new bonds of friendship and networks and developing the gastronomic values.



I like to conclude by expressing the wish that both Bailliage Regional Moscow and Saint Petersburg will continue to grow this year, and that we all together can welcome many new members.
